Art and Design

Art and Design lessons provide the opportunity to stimulate the children's creativity and imagination.

Pupils develop a variety of skills in observational drawing, creative design and imaginative illustrations. They explore a variety of mediums and practise their manipulative skills using tools for 3D work involving clay and papier mache.

They participate in outdoor visits for sketching and first hand observation and to the local Art Galleries to study the different styles of artists, craftspeople and designers.

Visitors to School never fail to comment on the vibrant and ever changing displays of the children's work.
