Where Individuals Matter
Pupils from Oakleigh House School enter Ffynone at the end of Year 6 and there is a programme of transition events in place to ensure the move up to the secondary school is eagerly anticipated by each pupil.

The school is based in Uplands, Swansea, close to all the city's facilities and amenities. The Grade II building was originally a Convent School.
Ffynone House School- Academic Excellence
In its thirty-five year history Ffynone House School has earned a reputation for academic excellence. Examination results have been consistently high, both at GCSE and A level.
GCSE Success
In 2010 pupils achieved a 97% A*-C pass rate at GCSE. The school reinforced its reputation for outstanding achievement in the sciences with 95% A*-B pass rate. Pupils in Music, Latin and Statistics all achieved grades A*-B.
A Level Excellence
At AS and A Level Ffynone excels. The school offers a selected range of A Levels in small, focused class and seminar formats to help prepare pupils not just for the exams themselves but for University life beyond them. Our results speak for themselves. In 2008 60% of Ffynone's A Level results were A grades. In 2009 we achieved a 100% pass rate at A Level with 88% at grades A - C. This continued in 2010 with 77% A*-B grades and 100% pass rate.In addition, pride has always been taken in developing the whole child through dedicated pastoral care and a wide range of extra-curricular activities.
Cognita Schools
Recent investment has seen improved facilities and opportunities for pupils, including an ICT suite and enhanced Sixth Form accommodation. Ongoing investment promises an exciting future for a school which has always endeavoured to secure the best for your child and the best from your child.
