River Tawe Cruises

Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed their visit to a Mrs Mahoney workshop at Swansea Museum today.  The children then had the opportunity to have their lunch on the newly appointed Swansea Community Narrow Boat.  Due to the windy conditions they were not able to enjoy a trip on the River Tawe but have been invited back in June when they will be able to enjoy travelling from the Marina to the Liberty Stadium.   During the visit the children will also be shown animations of historic landscapes which include Swansea Docks in Victorian Times, Medieval Ships at the River Quay by Swansea Castle, Swansea Potteries and Copperopolis.
