Reception activities

Reception have been working so hard this year developing many new skills and having lots of fun taking part in different activities.

Our topic this term is ‘summer’ and are looking at how to stay safe in the sun and how things are different to other seasons in the year. We have also been looking at different minibeasts in the local area and further afield and are currently exploring deep under the sea. Our role-play area shows the different areas of the sea which we are filling with our creatures made out of many different materials.

We have also had fun creating and enjoying time in our sensory garden which we have been creating with Nursery 2.
