Relocating to Swansea
If you are relocating to Swansea or the surrounding area with a young family come and see what Oakleigh House School has to offer. We are the only independent nursery and junior school in Swansea. We welcome boys and girls aged 2 years six months to 11 years of age from the UK and abroad. Pupils are able to join the school throughout the academic year.
We understand how unsettling it can be for young children to move schools. Our welcoming family environment, dedicated staff and friendly pupils ensure new children settle in with minimum disruption and quickly make new friends. Our close pastoral care also gives new pupils the confidence they need to progress their education without significant interruption, and to achieve their full potential. We provide extra support for international students for whom English is not their first language.
Swansea, Mumbles and Gower
With its panoramic beaches, varied coastline, attractive parks and ample leisure opportunities, it’s not hard to see why the area offers such an enviable quality of life. Swansea is a city by the sea with a strong cultural heritage. It has two successful universities, a top medical school, international companies, a thriving local business community, first class sports facilities and a premiership football team. The City continues to attract inward investment and innovation. The Swansea City Deal and Tidal Lagoon projects are just two of the ambitious initiatives on the horizon.
