Netball Success Continues

Netball Team returns finalists

Oakleigh House Netball team goes from strength to strength and continue their success with an unbeaten record this academic year.

At a recent Netball tournament which was held at Bishopston Comprehensive School our team competed against local primary schools and won all their matches and these were watched by Robyn Lock, Active young People’s Officer for Bay Area.  She commented:

It’s rare to see such good sportsmanship in many sports players let alone 9, 10 and 11 year olds!  It is so impressive to see such young athletes work well together and be true role models to not only their peers but to teachers and myself!  As a team and as individuals they are doing Oakleigh House, and you as parents, all very proud!

The team have now been selected as finalists in the Swansea Sports Awards 2018 – Primary School Team of the Year which is a fantastic achievement.  We all wish them good luck.
