Investing in an Oakleigh House education for your child will provide them with the very best opportunity to succeed in education and life.

As Swansea's only independent preparatory school, we are proud of our academic results, which are a testimony of the success of our individualised learning strategy for every child.

Although we charge fees termly there is an option to pay monthly via direct debit with School Fee Plan.

Our Fees are Transparent

Everything you will need to know about our fees, additional costs, discounts and terms and conditions can be found here.

In addition to the inspirational class teaching, parents can also take advantage of:

  • School being open from 8:00am; pupils are supervised until class teachers arrive in class at 8:30am.

  • A staggered end of day; we offer a late room for Nursery and Preschool pupils until 3:30pm and for the remainder of the pupils until 4:00pm.

  • Class teacher led Clubs until 4:30pm.

The tables below clearly show what is and isn't included in our fee structures. For items such as Transport, Acorns Stay and Play, trips and visits etc are all added to your purse on our parent app Cognita Connect.

- Acorns Stay and Play runs from 3:30pm for Nursery and Preschool and from 4:00pm for Pre Prep and Preparatory pupils until 6:00pm.
- The charge is a flat rate of £8.50 per evening if booked before 2:00pm the same day. Bookings after this time incur an increased charge of £10.

Key Information

  • Fees are reviewed September annually.

  • Fees are due in full by direct debit on our before the first day of term.

  • Payments may be made by School Fee Plan over 12 months (SFP).*

  • If an instalment plan is in place, you must adhere to the agreed timing, frequency and method of payment.

  • Late payment of fees will accrue a surcharge calculated at 1.5% per month from the first day of term.

  • A full term's notice is required in writing before the withdrawal of a pupil addressed to and received by the Head.

Over 18s only. Failure to keep up with your repayments could result in your agreement being cancelled.

Siblings discounts
  • 5% discount for one sibling

  • 10% discount for an additional sibling

  • 15% discount for any further siblings

International Student Fees

International pupils who receive an offer to study at Oakleigh House will be asked to accept their place by completing and returning an acceptance form and paying a deposit equal to one term's fees.

The international deposit will be returned at the end of the pupil's time at the school, providing appropriate notice has been given and all fees have been settled.
